THINKING ABOUT BEING A HOST?

We are always looking for new host families for our students.

Our students come for 3-7 nights and are out on school trips every day from 8am and usually do not return until after 6.00pm. The students are here to experience life in a British home and to learn more about our culture, customs and language. If you live in the Abingdon area and have a spare bedroom why not get in touch?

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

You can host a minimum of two and a maximum of four students at anyone time and they must be the only overseas students staying in your home. You will provide breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal in line with our expectations. The students must have their own bed but bunk beds are acceptable.
We have one central collection and drop off point but have other local pick ups across Abingdon. If you live more than 10-15 minutes walk from one of these points, we ask that you take and collect the students each day.
You will need to agree to follow our Covid protocol in order to keep everyone safe and well.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

A way to earn some extra cash usually between February and June. We pay competitive rates per night per student. You can tell us if you prefer boys or girls and what special diets you maybe able to cater for. If you do not feel able to offer special diets you will still be offered students. It is ok if you have pets as along as we are aware of this.
We want to make this a pleasant experience for all involved.
We are Abingdon based and always ready to give support if needed.
